1980 wurde die Carabidenfauna der Schwingdecken bäuerlicher Torfstiche,
Regenerationsflächen und verheideten Torfe mit Formalinfallen im Naturschutzgebiet .Oppenweher
Moor" untersucht.
Die Ergebnisse und Aktivitätskurven von 5 Arten werden mitgeteilt.
Die Ökologie einiger Arten wird diskutiert.
In Norddeutschland selten gewordene Carabiden oligotropher und mesotropher Biotope kommen
im Oppenweher Moor noch vor. Einige sind sogar häufig, wie Carabus nitens und Carabus
clathratus.

Various carabid beetles inhabiting ollqotrophic and mesotrophic habitats, which have become
very rare in the northern part of Germany, are still found in this nature reserve. Some species, e. g.
Carabus nitens and Carabus clathratus, are even abundant.
